By accepting the offer you will receive from AKAKIA by replying by email, or by sending the texts/archives of the books for publication to AKAKIA’s email publications@akakia.net or even by paying the corresponding amount, the author responsibly states that he owns the intellectual property ownership of any book or textbook that is shipped to AKAKIA and has the exclusive right to publish and sell it in AKAKIA.
The production order, the interbank payment, the service invoice, and the confirmation emails are a guarantee for both the author and AKAKIA, and the payment date is the starting point for the delivery deadlines. For scheduled services (annual subscriptions), the starting date is the posting date at AKAKIA's online bookstore, AMAZON, or PublishDrive.
AKAKIA bears no responsibility for the content of the books or works it produces and in no event is liable for any harm to third parties, values, countries, states, religions, morals or customs.
The author's earnings policy is clearly and analytically defined both in the relevant fields as well as below. Also, the author, by completing and sending the Quote Request, sending the texts and covers, as well as paying the cost, is deemed to accept all of the terms on this page.
AKAKIA can only promote and advertise books, depending on the agreements made with the author.
ISBN & BARCODES
AKAKIA works with the British Nielsen ISBN Agency to directly issue ISBN for each book individually or for book sets. The titles are deposited in the Agency's Database as well as in the National British Library, with 6 copies of the printed book required.
AKAKIA also undertakes the creation of Barcodes for the printed books it publishes, to be accepted on Amazon websites, for which this is a prerequisite. Each book, depending on the type of edition, receives a different ISBN and barcode for each. For example, a book that comes out in both printed and ebook format will receive ISBNs for each electronic file and one for the printed version.
If the author holds an ISBN from Greece or another country, according to the rules in the field, there is no need to acquire a British ISBN.

Once AKAKIA undertakes the book sales through its own electronic bookstore AND THROUGH AMAZON, AKAKIA is AUTOMATICALLY authorized and ORDERED from author TO print BOOKS TO MEET THE MARKET ORDERS. THE WAY OF ACCOUNTING OF THESE SALES, IS REPORTED IN THE RELEVENT FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH ABOUT PROFITS.
PROFITS
The sale price of each book or e-book will be selected in consultation between AKAKIA and the author when the order to print is given.
Especially for e-books, AKAKIA sets a minimum selling price of £3. AKAKIA deposits every author 100% of the net sales profits of printed books and 70% of their e-books in British pounds. The percentage retained is the service costs (PAYPAL, Bank Account, etc) or the seller (eg Amazon, PublishDrive). The withdrawal rate from AKAKIA's PAYPAL Account is deducted if the author does not have a PAYPAL Account but only a physical Account. AKAKIA recommends that authors submitting their works for publication have a PAYPAL Account so that they can easily deposit their profits. This way we will avoid the process of issuing checks or other forms of transfer that are time-consuming and cost the author more. Each author's earnings are calculated on a semi-annual basis (January-June and July-December), where profits are also deposited at the end of each term. The authors' profits are by no means advanced.
If there is no demand for a book or if it has not been advertised by AKAKIA or the author resulting in it not being sold, AKAKIA will not indemnify or pay any sum to the author and the author in turn will have no financial claim.
AKAKIA Publishing can only control the sales made through their website in real time. For other sales made through third parties, they are informed accordingly by the affiliate seller or distributor, self-publishing, monthly, quarterly or semi-annually, thereby informing the author of his / her earnings per semester overall, of course based on the data available up to that time. Accounting and percentage rights clearance by AKAKIA take place in late December and June, and deposits can be completed within a month, ie until the end of January and July respectively, possibly the first fortnight of next months. The information received by the author from AKAKIA relates to the final amount that he is given and the total number of books he has sold through the website. www.akakia.net, w ww.akakia.co.uk and www.akakia.gr or any affiliate seller, things that are of course available in the event of an appeal or an extradition dispute.
COOPERATION DISSOLUTION
AKAKIA as well as the author may terminate the cooperation agreement at any time and consequently cease selling books and stop displaying them on www.akakia.net, www.akakia.co.uk and www.akakia.gr, provided that any financial debt have been settled either by the author to AKAKIA for work already done, or by AKAKIA to the author for sales made prior to the termination of the contract, and without any extra commitment.
