E-BOOK CREATION
There are different formats for e-books, depending on the platform that showcases them.
We undertake the creation of these formats to meet the needs of readers, depending on the device they use. These are epub format 'reflowable' or ' fixed' and it depends on the content of the book.
If the book is a novel or plain text the epub can be created as 'reflowable', if the book is technical and it includes diagrams, tables and pictures then it will be of a 'fixed' format.
The cost of an EPUB file creative is £180 and you will need to add the cost of issuing ISBN for this format, if you wish.
An e-pdf of the book will be given to you for free upon completion of the ebook creation.
Any e-book produced by AKAKIA can be sold on AKAKIA's online bookselling platform in:
-Pdf for Computers and tablets like iPad or Android, and of course,
-Epub for most ebook readers like Sony Reader, Kobo, Binatone, BeBook, Nook and Displex
We will discuss in details which format is best for your book.

E-BOOK DISTRIBUTION TO AMAZON KDP
If the language of the book is accepted and supported, we will take care its placement to Amazon KDP.
Important note: The availability of each book from each e-store depends solely on the policy of that store.
WHAT THE AUTHOR GAINS FROM E-BOOK SALES
The selling price of the e-book version of the book is decided by the author but cannot be less than £5. As with the printed book, here too there are banking fees and a percentage of approximately 50% retained by publishdrive along with other distributors. After deducting these amounts, AKAKIA retains 30%, and the author receives 70%.
INDICATIVE CALCULATION OF E-BOOK SALES PROFITS
For an e-book with a selected selling price, e.g., £8, we would have:
£1 for banking and storage
£4 retained by publishdrive
Total £5
In this case, the author would receive as profit from the sale of an e-book 70% of £3, which is £2.1.
